Shane, I was up till 6:30 this morning thinking of you and how much I miss you.
It has been over 2yrs since you were taken from us, but it still feels like
yesterday. I don't know if anyone else still comes back to this page in memory
of you, but I do. I have gotten married again, you said to do it till you get it
right, so I did. I married Jim. He is my best friend and my closest companion.
Dana is always telling me to cherish that because that is what she had with you,
and you can't find that kind of love very often. He is definitely my soul-mate.
Tristen is so much like you it is unbelievable. I always thought they broke the
mold with you, but now I see they didn't, everytime I see your son. Your Mom and
Dad still suffer everyday at your loss as well as Shelly and Dana. I feel they
are dealing with your passing better, but you can tell that there are times that
it is just a cover. Well Shane I will always love and miss you more than you
will ever know. You are in all of our hearts for all of eternity. I will love
you always!!! Your Cousin, Amy

Shane, Sorry it has taken me so long to sign this. I talked to your mom and dad
the other day. Oh, how they miss you, not mention everyone else. I've seen
picture of little Shane. Look out Columbia!! I'm sorry that we didn't stay in
touch like we both know we should have. You know the other day I ran across some
pictures of you, Ricky, and I. The smile on all our faces especially yours. It
shined no matter what we were doing, whether it was playing baseball, getting
into fights, or just getting into trouble. After it was all over and done with
we would just laugh. The memories that you and I have shared they will never be
forgotten or replaced. Just like the song you written "Fade Away" I remember us
talking about football, baseball, Ha! the lefted handed cigarettes down at the
creek. I wish I would have been there to race the fast cars with you and play
the silly games with the silly little girls on the bank of the Pearl. I have yet
to find a friend like you since I have moved away. To be quite honest Shane,
people like you, well they just cannot be replaced. I will miss you tremendously
and I want to thank you for being such a great friend. You will always be missed
and remembered. We will meet again someday and we will do it all over again.
Sing and dance with the angels like you know how. Your friend always, Jamey

Shane, I knew you as my friend when we were only teenagers and then as the true
love of one of my best friends when we became adults. You will always be
cherished and remembered through the love of Dana, your family, your friends,
and your beautiful son. May you walk with the angels forever. Susan

Somewhere a journey begins at the end of the worldly existence we know;
Somewhere a path stretches over the star, and rivers of memories flow; Somewhere
a silence is heard far away and the brightness of day fills the night; Where the
trials of life are resolved into peace when your soul finds its way to the
light. Shane, when I think of you, I think of shared times, shared memories,
shared joys; these are the things that will keep you close and where your
friends and family will find their strength and comfort in the days ahead. I
love you always. Until we meet again, Your cousin, Angie

Shane, I miss you SO much. There is not a day goes by that I don't think about
you and see your beautiful smile. Sorry it has taken me so long to sign in, but
I think this is the hardest thing I have ever tryed to do. Sometimes we can't
understand why God does the things that he does, but we are not to question why
he took you from us so soon. There is a purpose, but it is not for us to
understand. One day we will know that purpose. Maybe the Lord wanted you to sing
and play for the Angels. You were by far my favorite nephew and you still are
just because you are not on this old earth doesn't mean that I will ever forget
you. I can't imagine losing a child. I'm hurting so bad and I can see why your
mom and Dad are so sad all the time. It breaks my heart to see them hurting so.
I remember all the good times we had together, especially at Christmas time when
you would sing and play guitar for us. I enjoyed that so much. I will never
forget those good all days. One day we will meet again and we can do it all over
again. You will never be forgotten in my heart, I love and miss you greatly.

Dear Shane, My only Grandson, who will be sorely missed: You left us much too
soon and though we don't understand, we know that our precious Lord and Savior
knows what he is doing. His ways are higher than our ways and pass our
understanding, however, he did say, when we see him, we'll know as we are known,
so even though your family and friends here are still in limbo, you know all
about it. Paul said it is better to be absent from the body and present with the
Lord. And now, just as in the days of old, God dwells above the mercy seat, and
because he knows our frame, that we are sinful flesh, he looks at us from the
other side of the cross, through the cleansing blood of the sacrificial lamb
(our Lord Jesus). Therefore we find in Ephesians 2:8, For by Grace are ye saved,
through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Those who are
left out are dogs (False Teachers), murderers, drunkards, adulterers,
whoremongers, those who maketh and telleth a lie (to hurt others), robbers of
the poor and widows, and mean wicked men and all those who reject the Son of
God, and those who abuse children. I remember in your song Fade Away - you spoke
of the things in your heart that were never spoken and how you should have said
them, but failed to do so, well the Lord heard them all for he knows all things,
even the sacred things of the heart. The Lord who looks on the heart and not on
the outward appearance as man does. We'll miss you very much, but in a little
while we'll be in that land of peace, love, and joy where there are no more
tears, no pain, and no enemy to deceive us - Going on for Christ I'll remember
you, NaNa

Shane, I have already signed this guest book once already, but I didn't get to
say everything that I wanted to say. I was speachless at the time and now I have
much more to say. My heart is still in so much pain and I cannot stand the
thought of my life without you. You were always there for me, Bubba, and I wish
that I would have been there for you more. I do not understand why God took you
from us so soon, but I hope you know that you will remain in my heart forever. I
love and miss you so much Bubba and life without you is so hard. Camri and
little Jacob talk about you all the time and say how much they love and miss
their Uncle Shane. Just know that I will think of you always and we will meet
again soon. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW!!!! WITH LOVE ALWAYS; YOUR
SISTER

God has a plan for us before we are even born into this world.Only God knows why
he took you from us Shane and someday we will understand his plan. His purpose
will be revealed and it will make sense to us.For now, it remains concealed. Our
answers must wait until we are home with God ourselves.I will miss your presence
here on Earth, but will soon meet with you again, my brother. I'll see you at
the "pearly gates" in heaven!I love you, Shane. You are forever in my heart.

It will be the little things that you will remember the quiet moments, the
smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the
memory of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the
smiles back again. My prayers are with you Betty and the family.

How do you get through making a page like this for someone lost at such a young
age. I am trying to gather myself so I can go home to see the family on such a
sad occasion and I just had to take the time and make this for you Shane.. I
know you will be in heaven and be able to see all that happens down here. This I
made more for Dana and Triston and your Mom and Dad and most of all for your
memory. You will be with us always. All my Love Aunt Betty
